I went in to make reservations for a family function they gave a great deal for the amount of people that we're going to feed and the woman that served me was soooo helpful and polite. I reccomend if you have a function or an unveiling etc and you can't be bothered cooking go down to the Whitehouse they will sort you out they also have wheelchair access for the disabled and even a disability lift to get disabled customers to there upstairs rooms which is awesome! They also have a bar if you'd like to have a beer, wine, spirits and even coffee or tea and they also have beautiful cakes and slices that you can purchase to go with your hot beverages.ππππ

Hosted a small event in the Tapas room for 15 people.
Excellent service and great food. Katherine and the team provided all the amenities our group needed. Will book here again.

The waitress was really nice and helpful. The restaurant is a bit dated but certainly clean and tidy. The food however was bloody terrible. Cooked to death with absolutely no love what so ever. This has to be a prime candidate for one of those places Gordon Ramsay rescues on his TV show. It would take a seriously good offer to get me back again. I would have rated minus 1 star if I could.

Stopped in and brought a slice of cheesecake for dessert. It was o.kish nothing over the top. $10.50 hmmm?
Lovely bar (where I had to pay as there's no real counter where the cheesecake was) so abit werid. But the guy that served me looked slickπ and the place really does look good.

We were turned away from Rivers and happened to pass The White House. It was empty and we thought something was wrong with the place. We decided to go in because the wait staff were so friendly and gave the children blocks to play with and coloring in sheets with crayons. I ordered the $40 meal that consisted of an entree, main and dessert. I had garlic bread with dips - yum! then steak, wedges and salad - yum! and ended with sticky date pudding - yum, yum, yum! My cousin had the same as me and he enjoyed his meal and my daughter in-law had the pork belly and lava cake which she enjoyed and the kids had hot dog and chips from the kids menu and were full after this and not wanting dessert. The staff were amazing, we enjoyed a bit of banter with the Indian guy who was very polite and the lovely lady from Matamata. We struck gold walking into this place and I highly recommend it.
