I come to this store all the time, but today’s experience was really disappointing. This drink was only about three-quarters full even before I took a sip, and it was filled with a lot of ice. I ordered milk tea with boba, not a cup full of ice. Because of the excessive ice, the actual amount of drink was very little. I asked the staff, and they only added a few more pieces of ice, and the cup was still not full. As a regular customer, this makes me feel quite undervalued. Please ensure drinks are filled properly, Customers are paying for the drink, not just ice Plus the pic is after I try to communicate with the staff who’s just add some more ice, still not full cup, at the same time another cup is full cup, which is means they can make it full cup they just choose not to.
Fusion is an absolute gem in Gisborne, they’re a small business that creates some amazing tasting, healthy, feel good food. I’ve been a regular for years, and not once have I been disappointed. Alongside making great food they also offer boba tea which I find refreshing on a hot day. The dishes I’d recommend you try are the Vietnamese spring rolls and the crispy chicken noodle soup. I would say prices are more on the expensive side, yet worthwhile. The service is nice and fast, they now also have an ordering screen in the shop too. 5 star.
Did the owners change because I swear their food and portion sizes have changed. The brown boxes they come in make the food soggy because of condensation which I’m surprised they haven’t caught on to, the portion sizes compared to the prices are INSANE and I understand price increases but the portions really are a joke for what you pay for. The food is alright, meat is often dry, the ration of meat to rice and vegetable are seriously poor. Such a shame for a place who can make good food, if the owners have changed this place is a waste.
Been here multiple times, mostly for the nice boba tea, but also for the food. Boba tea: Quite a few flavours to choose from, as well as choices of topping. Tried and like almost all of them. Food: Having in or taking away, you won’t have to wait long for your food. Good sized portions and delicious.
Never had a bad meal here - and my partner and I order here a lot! Definitely recommend, lots of tasty options for all preferences 💯🔥
