I had not been to Lytton West Bakery for awhile after changing job. Wow factor for me, it is more open not so cramped, love the variety of different food and drinks. Staff and co owner are amazing 👏 Well done Lytton West Bakery. Pies sausage rolls are so delicious and fulfilling 😋
We stopped in for breakfast and was greated by the baker/ co owner who was hospitable and friendly. He shared a bit of history and the scale of their grass roots business and graciously gave us a complementary pie which was delicious everything we bought from the kebabs to the sausage rolls and brownie was top level and if we were local we would visit frequently! Best bakery in gisbourne and we visited a few so we are willing to back it up! Thank u lytton west bakery!!
My partner got me a pie, sausage roll and a custard square. The pie was amazing didn't taste fatty i’ve never had good experiences with pies in other bakeries but i can hands down say the pie was amazing. The sausage roll, i generally don't like sausage rolls however no complains from me for this sausage roll it was a real good portion and surprisingly tasty. The custard square was awesome love me some custard and that passion fruit icing on top was amazing let’s not forget the pastry it was crispy and not soggy so i can tell it was fresh. Overall i can tell this bakery makes their stuff fresh which is all i need from a bakery store, will definitely go back and order me another pie 😊
Such a cozy bakery! Yum food and awesome staff. Amazing drink selection too. I always get a custard square when I’m here.
Their steak and cheese pie wasn't up to standard for me. Felt like all I was eating was pastry. Hardly any contents of food inside the pie with one piece of steak. Will not be back here in a hurry
