I’ve been there last Thursday night for dinner with my partner. We’ve been warmly welcome by our waitress Maya. She’ve done an amazing job, making her best to be sure that our experience goes well. We had two entrées and two mains. Everything was delicious. Tasty and original compare to what we can find in other places. And the building is really cute, make me think about south of France restaurant lol. Just an advice, when you book ask to seat on the front terrace if you want enjoy the sunset during your dinner. Thanks a lot we will definitely be back.

When I arrived, the young woman at the front desk was arguing loudly with someone out the back. Sounded more like a parent/child argument that continued loudly for some time and visibly affected the mood of the woman at foh. I ordered the rosemary lamb which arrived at the table with blobs of tomato sauce around the plate, the broccoli night was the only edible part of the meal. The Aragoto was not cooked properly. Hard in the middle like they were frozen. The lamb was very overcooked. Extremely chewy and difficult to cut. The bread pictured was supposed to be focaccia, however tasted like plain supermarket white bread. It was tough, not spongey at all and I couldn't get through one piece. I ordered a beetroot and avocado salad to take away, which only had toppings. Mostly feta and walnut, 2 sliced cherry tomatoes, a wee bit of cucumber that looked like it was bitten and 3 tiny pieces of avo on top which wouldn't have equated to even one thin slice if put together. I would never go back. The only thing that made it a positive experience was the male waiter, who was lovely. Do not recommend and now understand why there was only one other table of people when I was there.

Absolutely fantastic!
We were passing through from Gisborne to Napier and got a table on the spur of the moment without a reservation. Instead of two main courses, we ordered three starters and were very happy with them.
It was the best meal we've had on our trip through New Zealand so far, and we would definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Drinks were strong but delicious.
Service was friendly but slow however we were in no rush so just enjoyed. Food was delicious and good value. Will definitely be back

LOVED the Rustic Look of the restaurant. 😍
LOVED the steak, so soft and the taste OMG. I’m a small eater and I ate EVERYTHING on my plate, it was that good.
SERVICE was top notch.
