We booked a table and were lucky to find a parking close to the door. The ordering is done on a tablet and it was quick and simple to use, after a run though by the waitress. The food arrived fairly quickly. The ribs was very good and tasty. We also enjoyed our chips and warm vegetable salad. Unfortunately the steak was not to the same standard, it was disappointed 😕
Delicious food! I ordered the Catch Me If You Can burger, which comes with crispy curly fries. The burger is filled with battered tarakihi, calamari, and prawns. The batter was light, crispy, and absolutely delicious. The customer service was 10/10. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and so lovely. Our food arrived quickly, and we didn't have to wait long at all. My friends loved their meals too, and we all had a great dining experience. I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic experience at the Wharf Bar! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, which really made a difference. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the outlook over the Gisborne wharf is absolutely gorgeous, such a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. We visited with a mixed group, including a 13-year-old, teenagers, and two adults. The kids’ platter was perfect for them, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The food was delicious, and there was something for everyone. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend the Wharf Bar for both families and groups. We’ll be back!
Fantastic food, generous portions and reasonable prices. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the seafood options are plentiful. On the negative, the table was quite sticky, we had to go hunting for a full set of cutlery and there were quite a few flies around. Definitely needs more pest control and attention by the floor staff.
Great food fast service . Able to order and pay on your phone is great , drinks are good . Great place to wind down on a Sunday with friends
